Someone please tell Jenark about this! they are still using SOAP and refuse to switch! Does sql Server 2008 R2 support SOAP? The company that keeps our data is trying to create a push using SOAP, note this is 3 years after people were warned to stop using it, and they cannot seem to get the push working properly. Is this because SOAP is no longer supported? or another isue?

This makes sense since SOAP was yet another incarnation of RMI/RPC. Now if we can just eliminate some of the various SSI scripting languages we'll be all set.
